Tenille is committed to providing a genuine, warm, and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, comfortable, and understood when discussing their difficulties. She prides herself on working collaboratively with clients to understand the underlying factors contributing to their challenges, while equipping them with practical skills and strategies they can continue to draw upon beyond therapy.
Tenille is passionate about working with adolescents and adults across a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem difficulties, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, and trauma. She has a particular interest in helping clients understand long-standing patterns and experiences that may continue to impact their relationships, emotions, and sense of self. She aims to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered, with a focus on fostering meaningful and lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.
Tenille utilises evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s needs, drawing predominantly from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.
